The Sad Truth: Kurt Cobain Was an Asshole!
As a die-hard Nirvana fan, this is one of the most disappointing videos I’ve ever seen. In a show back before Nirvana hit it big, Kurt Cobain goes onstage bombed, smashes some poor guys mixing board, and then bashes a bouncer in the head with his guitar - all completely unprovoked. The bouncer serves him up a well-deserved ass-kicking.
Can you imagine what Cobain was probably like after he got famous and could get away with this stuff? Maybe he did the world a favor with that shotgun…

I met Nirvana in Columbus before a show at Staches and it was just me and my friend and his siters to great them.
He was wasted beyond belief and tried to end the show early and Kriss had to scream at him to finish the show.
The show was great because of the music,the words,the energy,the crowd and Cobain was just a zombie going through the motions of being a rock star.
I still miss the crazy asshole fucker.

I tell you all something in retrospect to fighting with everybody talkin' shit about kurt. The fact that he is loved, hated, despised, whatever, is a testament to how great he truely was. A person can not express emotions as such about a talentless shit. However, I respectfully apologize to all people I got nasty with. Apparently in the video where 'kurt couln't tune his own guitar', he did that on purpose and sang badly coz the band before them got booed off. Thats what I heard anyway. Besides, why is everyone so angry about kurt just because he hit some bouncer on the head after he pulled kurt's hair?
the point of this video is, don't let asshole security bouncers into your show. KC was trying to surf , and the jerk wouldn't let him. Kurt was in an awkward position, and probably not able to just get back up, didn't want to. Not the security asshole's job to drag kurt back onstage…by his hair no less. Everyone knew kurt was a surfer, part of his act (and fun too). KC had a temper, he was defending himself, and that jerk deserved to bleed.
Moral of the story: make sure your security is on your side.

First of all I simply worship Nirvana they changed my life like they have many people but dude kurt was wasted and hit the fucking guy with his guitar. The bouncer obviously didn't mean to pull his hair he was just doing his job, anyone who has long hair and has also been to a show know how it is. That bouncer was Turner Scott Van Blarcum the lead singer of a legendary Dallas punk band called Pump'n Ethyl and not the type of guy you wanna go hitting with your guitar and expecting not to get punched. Kurt was a genius of sorts but that doesn't exclude him from having shitty wasted rock star moments when he's clearly out of control. It's ok to admit that. I love Kurt and I love Turner.
